DCTC
The Downriver Career Technical Consortium (DCTC) was founded in 1965 as a way for three local school districts to share vocational education programs.
Over the years, the DCTC has grown and adapted to meet the ever changing needs of our evolving world. The DCTC now consists of nine local school districts that share over 22 programs.
We have expanded our role in the schools to include the following opportunities:
An academic consortium that shares high level and unique classes
The "Exposures: School-to-Work" program - a mentoring program for 10th grade students
Career Interest Assessment for all 9th graders
Co-op
Apprenticeships
Tech Prep - earn college credit while still in high school
Professional Development for teachers

Common Application: Use the Common Application to apply to several universities in Michigan and throughout the nation. Some colleges require that you apply by using the Common Application. For example, the University of Michigan requires the Common Application. Prior to applying to any college or university, always check the admission requirements and method of application at the website of the college or university.
